Naomi Ward

Konichiwa! I am Naomi, owner of Yoko Beverly Hills. Born and raised in a small town near Kyoto, the heart of cultural Japan, I have cherished memories of dressing up in my Obaachan’s kimono robes. Now, as a single mom living in Los Angeles with my teenage son and our rescue cat, I continue to nurture my love for kimono fabrics and traditions.

Join me in the Yokos Kimono Silk Masterclass, where I will guide you through the rich history and intricate techniques of kimono silk crafting. Together, we will explore traditional weaves and motifs, as well as contemporary designs. Each fabric is one-of-a-kind, with some bolts initially tagged at over $1000. Most are pristine, though occasional small stains and imperfections will be pointed out in photos.
